A downloadable wargame

"Sir, they're coming fast. They've gone high - we're not sure why, but intelligence says..."

"You mean we're going to war?"

"Uh... yes, yes sir"

The shaper's eyes glaze over for a long time. He sighs, stands up straight.

"... Ok then. And yes, I know intelligence says there is a relic in the Shrimh crater. The bastards must be going for it."

Another pause, then "Launch everything, send everyone. Do we make for the crater... or go low and hit the city while they're busy? You're the expert. Make a call. I need a drink."

Splintercard is a 1 or 2 player science fiction wargame contained in a single 5x7 inch card you can print for free. Most games last less than ten minutes.

Also available on Tabletop Simulator: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2978128589

Try to destroy your opponent's city. Take turns playing cards which either control your forces, launch nukes, repair your city or skip a turn. There's more to it - the stakes grow as time moves on, there are multiple strategies to win, and a solo mode is included.

Update 2.2: Graphic design tweaks to make logos clearer, small change to how units redeploy, some clarifications.

Hi Vijil. Just trying out Splintercards. Looks great, seems enjoyable. I have a question about the rules though. For attacking they state that the defender is dead when "the result beats the enemy defense". Does this mean the the result must be "higher" or "equal or higher"? Regards!

Higher :)

But if you think it would be better another way, please let me know!
